Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest

A traffic stop for suspicion of driving under the influence led to the arrest of a Plymouth woman on drug charges Monday afternoon.

Plymouth Police were notified of a possible impaired driver on Lincoln Highway west of Jefferson around 4:10 p.m. The driver, 44-year-old Jennifer Miller, was driving on a suspended license, according to a police department news release. A search of her vehicle reportedly turned up a Schedule II controlled substance, and the arrest report indicates she was also in possession of methamphetamine.
