A Plymouth woman was sentenced to in prison after she pleaded guilty to dealing methamphetamine.
39-year-old Tessa Mullins was sentenced on Wednesday in Marshall County Superior Court.
Her case started in April of 2014 when Indiana State Police visited Mullins’ residence in the 1600 block of North Michigan Street in Plymouth. The visit was part of her probation from a separate incident.
Officers entered the home where they noticed a cut off straw with white powder. Lab tests were run and allegedly determined the presence of methamphetamine. A search followed the initial discovery where investigators say they found additional drugs and paraphernalia.
According to a press release from Marshall County Prosecuting Attorney Nelson Chipman, Mullins admitted in court as part of a plea deal that she had delivered meth. That’s a Class B Felony.
Judge Robert Bowen approved the agreement – which puts Mullins in the Indiana Department of Corrections for 10 years.
