The Marshall County American Red Cross Chapter hopes to have a new home in Argos within the next few months. Executive Director Sue Guilley tells MAX 98.3 FM News a family-owned business in downtown Argos has offered the nonprofit free commercial space. The agency is working through its national real estate division to finalize details, according to Guilley. She hopes they will be moved into the renovated building by late August.
The office in Plymouth is closing today in what was described as a cost-cutting measure. Last month Red Cross officials asked MAX 98.3 FM to spread the word that they would consider donated space in Marshall County if a suitable spot was offered.
