Culver Academies has a new Dean of Girls.
Lynn Rasch was named to the position about two months ago after it was learned that her predecessor Darlene Greene decided not to return to the position for the next school year.
According to Culver Alumni Magazine, Rasch graduated from the Culver Girls Academy in 1976. This is the first time in 44 years the school has named an alumnus to act as Dean of Girls. Rasch has previously served as assistant dean since 2002.
The Culver Girls Academy has enrolled an historic 351 students this year.
According to the Culver Academies Communications team – which featured the information in Culver Alumni Magazine – the assistant dean position allowed Rasch to coach the Equestriennes. The group is considered an advance horse riding team at the Academy.
Although she still considers herself new in the position, Rasch says she intends to visit boarding schools around the country to better develop a plan for the Culver Girls Academy.
