Plymouth Man Accused of Helping Teenager Run Away Faces Federal Charges

The Plymouth man police say helped a 14-year-old Plymouth High School girl leave the state last month faces federal charges in connection with that incident. WSBT-TV reports the U.S. Marshals have ordered the Marshall County Sheriff to turn 21-year-old Roberto Hector Reyes over to them. He’s due in U.S. District Court this afternoon, according to the television station. Reyes and the teenager were located in Texas and returned to Indiana. State charges against Reyes include sexual misconduct with a minor, forgery and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Authorities say he forged his birth certificate in order to enroll as a student at Plymouth High School.
