An annual festival in Marshall County has decided on a theme.
The 49th Annual Marshall County Blueberry Festival has decided to honor the “Heroes Among Us.” According to a press release, a hero can be anyone who has an impact in an individuals’ life.
Festival organizers say examples can include teachers, police officers, and family members, but is not limited to those categories.
The Board of Directors of the Blueberry Festival is encouraging area residents to bring their heroes to Centennial park for the gathering.
Each year, food, crafts, entertainment, and plenty of other activities are available.
This year’s Blueberry Festival will run for four days between September 4th and the 7th.
