Marshall County Community Foundation Offers Special Grant to Celebrate Indiana Bicentennial

The Marshall County Community Foundation has set aside up to $10,000 to assist organizations with programs and projects specifically related to the bicentennial celebration in 2016.

This special grant round will help recognize this milestone in the state’s history and to encourage local participation in the celebration.

Indiana’s official 200th birthday is Dec. 11, 2016 but plans are getting underway now to reflect upon 200 years of progress. Any non-profit organization with a 501(c)(3) status may request funds up to $2,000 that focus on Indiana’s Bicentennial Celebration.

Eligible programs or project must meet one or more recommended goals or characteristics including historical, educational, awareness, tourism, celebratory, or engaging and inspiring youth and young adults.

Applications for this grant round will be due in the Marshall County Community Foundation office no later than noon on Monday, Jan. 12. For more information, contact the Marshall County Community Foundation at (574) 935-5159 or email info@marshallcountycf.org.
