A Bremen man was killed Monday in a chain reaction crash near Nappanee. WSBT-TV says Noel Jimenez, 55, was waiting to turn from U.S. 6 onto Elkhart County Road 100, when his SUV was hit from behind by a box truck.

A Bremen High School teacher faces criminal charges, after he was accused of trying to seduce two of his students. WSBT-TV reports that Patrick Stroud, 28, allegedly sent messages to the girls on Instagram and had private meetings with them.

A hazmat team was called to the scene of a fire at a metal recycling business in Bourbon Thursday. WSBT-TV says a fire was reported at OmniSource just before 9:00 a.m. When firefighters arrived, they reportedly found three separate fires in various bins containing metals, according to Bourbon Fire Chief Mike Chapman.
