The Culver Town Council has an opportunity to bring itself in line with a recently established practice in Marshall County, tonight.
According to their agenda, Culver will bring an “Unsafe Buildings” ordinance to second and third reading. The ordinance passed first reading earlier this month.
Marshall County Makes Appointments to Unsafe Building Board
Marshall County has made appointments to serve on a newly created board to help designate unsafe housing for demolition.
The appointments follow the adoption of an ordinance creating that board that looks to bypass what was otherwise a lengthy process of remediation for unsafe property in the county.
