Those in need of food assistance have a number of options for help this week. Tomorrow, April 21, the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ will host a drive-through distribution from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. EDT at Ancilla College in Donaldson. They plan to give out more than 500 boxes, with more than 30 pounds of food each.

Representatives from the Food Bank of Northern Indiana will be at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Culver Wednesday, March 3 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. ET for a drive-thru mobile food distribution event.

The Culver School Board has agreed to let a local church use one of the school corporation’s special purpose buses. Superintendent Karen Shuman told board members Monday that Trinity Lutheran Church wants to use a bus to transport individuals from Miller’s Merry Manor.
