City of Plymouth Accepts Park Donation

A private park on the north side of Plymouth is now under the city’s control. Last night Plymouth Board of Park and Recreation accepted the donation of Price Memorial Park into its park system. The Ray L. Price Foundation has operated the 12 acre facility for many years. Located across from Centennial Park, it includes a large swimming and fishing pond, a gazebo, two picnic shelters, a playground and a caretaker’s residence. The park has been a fixture in the community for generations of Plymouth families.

Mayor Mark Senter says the park is a “natural fit and another positive development in the city.”
