Just because there is a transition to spring taking place doesn’t mean NIPSCO has stopped providing utility assistance to some of its customers.
Between December 1st and March 15th, natural gas utilities in Indiana don’t disconnect services to low income home energy assistance customers just because they may be delinquent on their home heating bills.
The Triton School Corporation served thousands of meals to students in need this summer.
During Monday’s School Board meeting, Triton Superintendent Donna Burroughs says she acknowledged the work their summer meal program is doing. The program provides breakfast and lunch to students who may not otherwise receive it at home while school is not in session.
