Plymouth to Go All In for Community Crossings Funds

Plymouth IndianaThe City of Plymouth is going for the maximum amount of money from Indiana’s Community Crossings 50-50 matching grant program for street projects. The Plymouth Common Council voted Monday to begin the process of appropriating a million dollars for the local match. That’s the most the state says it will match for each local government entity. Culver Receives LOIT Distribution, Mulls Matching Grant

This week, Town Council members agreed to establish a Local Option Income Tax Fund per the direction of the Department of Local Government Finance. It’s the requirement to properly receive funds designated for road funding and repairs.

Marshall County Navigates State Requirements for Road Funding

During Monday night’s Marshall County Council meeting, resolution’s from the County’s communities were presented showing support for an increase in both a Local Option Highway User Tax and a County Economic Development Income Tax.
