New COVID-19 cases continue to be reported in the local area. Another 14 Marshall County residents have tested positive, according to Sunday’s report from the Indiana State Department of Health, bringing the county’s total up to 659. Starke County had four new positive cases for a total of 134. Pulaski County’s total increased by one to 68.

More Starke and Marshall county residents have tested positive for COVID-19. Marshall County had 14 new cases, according to Friday’s report from the Indiana State Department of Health. That brings the county up to 636 residents who’ve tested positive, 11.6 percent of the total number of people tested.

Another Starke County resident has died after testing positive for COVID-19. That brings the county’s death count up to four, according to Thursday’s report from the Indiana State Department of Health. Starke County also saw another nine residents test positive, bringing the total up to 127.

One additional person has died from COVID-19 in Marshall County, bringing the number of COVID-19 deaths up to 12.  The number of people who have now tested positive for the coronavirus is 574, an increase of four from Monday’s report from the Indiana State Department of Health.

Free COVID-19 Testing Available at Knox High School

Free COVID-19 testing is taking place in Knox. The Indiana State Department of Health is testing residents at Knox High School between now and Saturday, July 18 and again next week from Tuesday, July 21 through Saturday, July 25, according to the Starke County Health Department.
