The Starke County Museum and county historian Ed Hasnerl recently hosted a roundtable meeting of county historians. Jeanette Rooney is the Assistant Director for local history services at the Indiana Historical society. She says each of Indiana’s 92 counties has an appointed volunteer historian as part of a program co-sponsored by the Indiana Historical Society and Indiana Historical Bureau. Continue reading →
