The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning for Wednesday. It will be in effect from 4:00 a.m. EST/3:00 a.m. CST to 9:00 p.m. EST/8:00 p.m. CST. Southwest winds of 30 to 40 miles per hour with gusts of up to 60 miles per hour are predicted.

A high wind warning is in effect for our area until late tonight. South winds are expected to veer southwest and rapidly increase this morning. By afternoon they will become west, according to the National Weather Service.
