FEMA has extended the deadline for applications from prospective Youth Preparedness Council members to July 15th.
The agency is seeking current students in grades 8-11 who want to become a regional advocate for youth disaster preparedness. The FEMA Region V Youth Preparedness Council offers youth leaders a unique opportunity to make a difference in their communities while sharing their opinions, experiences, ideas, solutions and questions on youth disaster preparedness with the regional leadership of FEMA.
