A couple of unique field trip opportunities available to Triton students were up for approval during last week’s school board meeting.
When school board members met last Monday, they considered two trip requests. One request came from science teacher Dawn Slein for a study abroad trip to Ecuador. Superintendent Jeremy Riffle said the proposed trip would be for the science club and it would take place in June of 2019.
Additionally, members considered a trip request from physics teacher Tina Zechiel for her class to visit Six Flags in Chicago. However, as Superintendent Riffle explained, it won’t be just any field trip to the amusement park. Continue reading
