The weather was perfect for Saturday’s Dash n Splash event hosted by the Marshall County Humane Society, according to Executive Director Nancy Cox.

Close to $1,000 was raised for the shelter during this weekend’s event that included a leisurely hike to Culver Academy followed by a cool down at the beach.

Cox said this was the second year of the event and there was a larger turn out than last year, with about 25 to 30 dogs and pet owners in attendance. Continue reading →
