The opening day event for the Culver Farmers’ Market is here!
The market will be open from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. today at Culver Town Park, weather permitting. A variety of vendors will be onsite with some organic produce, artisan crafts and goodies and a plethora of other items to peruse.

Proper nutrition is especially important for older and younger individuals who are more susceptible to illness due to their weaker immune systems. More people have access to fresh fruits, vegetables and other locally grown goods since the Culver Farmers’ Market can now accept WIC and Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program vouchers.
It’s a summer tradition that continues to grow in the Culver area. The Culver Farmer’s Market is set to open for the summer season today.
The Culver Farmer’s Market will open for the summer season on Saturday, May 13 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The summer operation hours will include Tuesday evenings beginning May 30 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. ET.
Vendors are getting ready for the Culver Farmer’s Market which is set to begin in May.
Culver’s former movie theater will be getting some recognition during a series of events this weekend. The 1920s-era theater was most recently known as the Uptown Cinema, before closing in 2012. It was also called the El Rancho Theater, the Lakeside Cinema, and the Palms at other points during its nearly-nine-decade history.
