Students at the Argos Elementary School recently completed a philanthropic effort that will benefit first responders, active service members and veterans while a group at the high school tackled a project that will assist children from countries in need.
In a social media post, a school representative mentioned that the Elementary School’s candy drive was a major success. The students and staff members there were able to collect enough candy to fill 8 boxes. Continue reading
Culver Elementary School recently got some landscaping upgrades, thanks to one of its regular tenants. Earlier this month, volunteers from Crossroads Church pulled weeds and laid down 70 bags of mulch, among other improvements, according to Principal Erin Proskey.
Culver Community High School now has a regular weekend tenant, but school board members had a few questions about what kind of precedent that sets going forward.
One of Culver’s proposed Stellar Communities projects will be discussed tonight by the Culver School Board. Board members will consider a resolution formally expressing the school corporation’s support of the Cavalier Park project. The plan is to construct a sports center on a piece of the corporation’s land that’s currently being used as a youth soccer field.
