Bids for Plymouth’s Candy Lane storm sewer project came in higher than expected. Five bids were opened during Monday’s board of works meeting. Clerk-Treasurer Jeanine Xaver says they ranged from $1,047,000 up to $1,278,000, not including some optional work.

Quotes for Water and Wastewater Department Trucks Opened at Plymouth BOW Meeting
Plymouth Board of Works members heard quotes for trucks that will be purchased for the Water Department and Wastewater Department when they met last Monday. City Attorney Sean Surrisi opened the quotes and read them out loud to enter them into the record.
He said the first quote received for the Water Department truck came from the Plymouth dealership Oliver Ford who submitted a base quote of $30,510 and provided a trade-in value for a 1999 Ford F250 Pick UP truck of $650, bringing the net total to $29,860. Continue reading
