Plymouth Board of Works members considered a collections agency switch when they met Monday night.
City Attorney Sean Surrisi asked the board to consider a collection agreement with Eagles Account Group. He noted that the terms offered by this company are more beneficial than those offered by the company the city has been utilizing. Continue reading



The Internal Revenue Service is preparing to turn seriously delinquent accounts over to private-sector collection agencies. The agency notes these are unpaid individual tax obligations that are not currently being worked by IRS collection employees and often were assessed by the tax agency several years ago.
The Culver Community Schools Corporation will soon be cracking down on families who owe the corporation money. The school board approved an agreement Monday allowing corporation attorney Jeff Houin to also serve as a collection agent.
