The National Weather Service is advising of the potential for heavy rainfall for this weekend, with up to one inch anticipated.
Marshall County Emergency Management Director Clyde Avery issued an alert saying that heavy rain combined with melting snow and frozen or partly frozen ground may result in some flooding of low lying areas. The Marshall County Emergency Management Agency has announced that the “Warning” level travel advisory that was implemented yesterday morning has been terminated and a “Watch” level travel advisory has been put in place.
With the inclement weather this week, water is rising in low lying areas.
The Plymouth Board of Works will award a quote for new police department vehicles when it meets this evening. Board members are also expected to receive an update on possible ways to improve some of the rough railroad crossings in the city.
