The cafeteria staff at the Culver Community School Corporation has been busy during this spring break to offer children healthy meals.
Carin Clifton, Food Services Director at the Culver schools, said about 10 children a day were served breakfast while up to 25 children took advantage of lunch during last week’s first week of spring break.



The Culver Community Schools Corporation served 3,710 lunches and 1,836 breakfasts over the summer, as part of the Summer Food Service Program. It’s sponsored by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and aims to give meals to children 18 and younger, as well as certain adults with disabilities.
