Bremen’s three-day Oktoberfest begins Friday.
The weekend is packed with activities including entertainment, food and craft booths, longboard races, bed races, soap box derby, antique tractor and engine show, and children’s area. A brew festivus including ales, wines, ciders, and more from 30 different vendors will be featured.

After being out of commission for a couple of decades, the Bremen Oktoberfest made a comeback last year for the Indiana Bicentennial. The event returns this fall and will run October 6th through the 8th. Bremen Director of Operations Trend Weldy said this year’s festival will be chock-full of fun things to do for individuals of all ages.
October may be six months away, but Oktoberfest organizers in Bremen are already in the midst of producing plans for the annual celebration.
Many of the annual favorites are coming back this year including the penny scramble, root beer float social, corn hole tournament, photo booth, Lotteria, longboard competition, children’s tent, bed race, and the soap box derby. A number of children’s activities will also be featured.
