Argos Community Schools is moving ahead with some building renovations and other capital projects. Last week, the school board approved a resolution to issue $2 million in bonds, according to Interim Superintendent Dr. Robert Boyd.

The Plymouth City Building renovation is another step closer to getting underway. A lease agreement was approved this week by both the Plymouth Redevelopment Commission and a newly-organized Redevelopment Authority, according to Clerk-Treasurer Jeanine Xaver.
Plymouth Schools Not Alone In Use of Complicated Financing Tool
The Plymouth Community School Corporation is using a legal tactic to help them finance future renovations to several of its facilities.
The $2-million project will expand seating at the athletic complex and upgrade restrooms and ticket offices. Construction will also provide more space for meetings and file storage at the School Corporation’s Administration Building.
