Argos Officials Coordinate with Culver Tree Commission

While ArborLift revolutionizes tree transplantation, Argos officials have been coordinating with members of the Culver Tree Commission about making some arborous additions around town.

Clerk-Treasurer Lisa Mullaney said that Marshall County Building Commissioner Chuck DeWitt reached out to the Commission members and they came into Argos to take a look at the trees that are already planted.

She explained, “They offered to come over and look at our trees downtown and they said we maybe have some that are not appropriate for downtown because they’ll get quite large.” Continue reading →

Argos Officials and Residents Focused on Community and Economic Development

The Town of Argos is geared toward growth, and officials are currently taking steps to show it.

Aside from working with the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation to construct a manufacturing center at the Dewey Street industrial park, town officials are also working in conjunction with the Argos Community Development Corporation on a potential housing development at the Colonial Estates property.
