Ancilla College is getting a boost with its efforts to provide on-campus student housing. The Starke County Community Foundation has announced plans to provide a total of $105,000 in grant funding from its Hardesty Memorial Endowment Fund over the next five years. That includes an initial grant of $25,000 for the college’s new dorm building. Ancilla College Planning for Second Annual Day of Giving

Ancilla College NEWAncilla College will be holding its second annual Day of Giving on Friday, April 29. College officials hope to get a total goal of 200 donors to take part in this year’s event by donating online, and they’re challenging each of those donors to give $24. Development and alumni relations manager Emily Hutsell says this level of donations can change the lives of students at Ancilla, where 90 percent of students receive some sort of financial assistance.
