Culver Academies’ Carillon Recital Series Returns
Culver Academies’ first carillon recital of the year will be held next Saturday. Plymouth Appropriates Funds for Blueberry Festival Fireworks Upgrades
Fireworks at the Marshall County Blueberry Festival were again up for discussion during Wednesday’s special session of the Plymouth Common Council. Last month, the Common Council voted to give the festival an additional $25,000 for this year’s fireworks, after festival organizers asked the city to fund the upgrades in recognition of the Blueberry Festival’s 50th anniversary. Some of Culver Academies’ first female students will be returning to the Culver campus next month for a reunion event. Centennial Park is one step closer to getting new tennis courts, after the Plymouth Common Council voted Wednesday to contribute an additional $329,000 in city funding for the project. Absentee Voting Continues Ahead of May Primary
Marshall County continues to see good voter turnout during early primary voting. Since absentee voting for next month’s primary began on April 5, 185 voters have cast ballots in-person at the County Clerk’s Office. State Police Investigating Fatal Marshall County Crash
A Plymouth man is dead after the car he was driving crossed the center line and struck a semi tractor trailer head on, according to an initial investigation by Indiana State Police. Officers say it happened Wednesday night around 10:30 on U.S. 6 just west of State Road 106 near Bremen. Skylar Evans, 23, was pronounced dead at the scene. Continue reading
