City of Plymouth to hold meetings

PLYMOUTH — The City of Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety and Common Council will hold their regular meetings

on Monday, March 23, 2026, starting with the Board of Works at 6 p.m., with the Council immediately following.
On the agenda for the Board of Works are the regular reports from the various department heads, with Police Chief John Weir making a request for an additional police officer.
The Council agenda will have a TIF (Tax Incremental Financing) management presentation. There will be two public hearings: one on an additional appropriations resolution and the other regarding the historic fire station renovation project.
There will be a first reading of an ordinance amending the fee schedule for the Department of Aviation and a vote on the resolution for additional appropriations.
There are also updates scheduled on ONE Marshall County and the comprehensive plan.
Both meetings will be held in the Council Chambers on the second floor of the City Building; those attending should enter through the Garro Street entrance.
