On Feb. 3, Plymouth Police Department officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of the BP Gas Station (423 N. Michigan Street) for a lane violation.
Police say the driver, 23-year-old Dawson Santos, of Plymouth, had no valid license. Plymouth Police K-9 Officer Vinson and his K-9 partner Castor assisted in the investigation. K-9 Castor had alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle, according to the report.
Santos was then transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked and lodged on preliminary charges of possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
