
On Feb. 11, at 2:10 a.m. ET, Plymouth Police Department officers conducted a traffic stop on a truck hauling vehicles for traveling 70 mph in a posted 50 mph zone.
During the traffic stop, it was determined that the truck had a combined weight of more than 45 thousand pounds and was a business hauler.
The driver, Serhii Chryva, 49, of Chino, CA, was also found to not have a Commercial Drivers License when required and was taken into custody and lodged at the Marshall County Jail on a preliminary charge of operating a vehicle when a CDL is required, a Class C misdemeanor.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
