
The Plymouth Community School Board heard the annual report from Director of Facilities Dave Schoof at their regular meeting Tuesday.
Schoof outlined his department’s list of maintenance projects for the coming year at the buildings around the corporation.
Jefferson, Webster and Plymouth High School will see some carpet replacement around the buildings at a cost of $95,000 along with some classroom furniture replacement that will take place at the Lincoln Education Center as well at $58,000.
Jefferson and Webster will also have air handler and duct cleaning for the buildings at $10,500.
Plymouth High School will also see a rooftop exhaust handler replacement at $20,000, a domestic waterline replacement for the portion of the school built in 1961, a stairwell railing replacement for to make it compliant with code at a cost of $75,000 and an HVAC network and controller update for $145,000.
Webster will have 4 rooftop sections replaced at just over $92,000.
Menominee will have a lighting upgrade at $50,000 and a gym floor refinish for $20,000.
Washington’s kindergarten restrooms will undergo a $35,000 renovation.
Both Menominee and the Kindt Soccerplex at the high school will have masonry repairs, caulking, and sealing at $25,000 with a donation by the Kindt family for $15,000 to go towards work at the Soccerplex.
The total of the projects is $695,549.93.
Schoof also updated the board on the progress of the Career Center.
The early childhood area is nearly complete as is the areas for veterinary and culinary science. The automotive section is still under construction with a projected completion date of Aug. 1.
