On the morning of Feb. 3 at 12:30 a.m. ET, Plymouth Police Department officers initiated a traffic stop on a red Acura traveling south on N. Michigan St.
Police say the driver, Manuel Garcia Lopez, 44, of Plymouth, was found to be operating a vehicle without ever obtaining a driver’s license. Marshall County Central Dispatch also discovered that Garcia Lopez had previously used an alias of Alonso Jimenez-Rivera, for whom Marshall County had an active arrest warrant, according to the report. Garcia-Lopez was transported to the Marshall County Jail.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
