
On Tuesday, Feb. 11, at 5:48 p.m. ET, Marshall County Central Dispatch received a call regarding a two-vehicle collision on U.S. 31 southbound, south of 12B Road in the construction.
Officers determined that a 2025 Lexus RX300 driven by Wei Ge, 30, of South Bend failed to yield to traffic before merging into the other vehicle involved, according to the report. The other vehicle, a 2021 Toyota Camry driven by Deborah Spencer, 64, of Mississippi, was struck on the driver side.
The collision caused Spencer to have complaints of pain, and Plymouth Fire and EMS were dispatched to the scene. The two vehicles remained driveable.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was assisted on the scene by Plymouth Fire and EMS.
