
On Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 5:15 a.m. ET, Marshall County Sheriff’s Department deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for improper lighting on State Road 331 just south of U.S. 30.
During the investigation, police say it was learned that the driver, Michael T. Blanton, 32, of Bourbon, had a license status of suspended with a prior conviction and had an active warrant out of Fulton County.
Blanton was subsequently arrested for driving while suspended with a prior suspension within ten years.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
