Culver Elementary Collaborates with VS Engineering in Presenting STEAM Expo

The Culver Elementary Parent-Teacher Organization is announcing VS Engineering’s involvement as a sponsor and participant in the 2025 STEAM Expo scheduled for February 22.

The event, funded in part by a grant from the Marshall County Community Foundation and by sponsors like VS Engineering, will take place at Culver Elementary School.

Exhibitors from across the region will present hands-on activities representing science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics to Indiana students and their families.

“Since its inception, the STEAM Expo was designed to forge and foster meaningful partnerships within the Culver community,” says former Culver PTO President and STEAM Expo Co-founder, Demond Jefferson, “and we will continue to build bridges that lead to more resources for our students and increased exposure to STEM and the arts. When talented professionals like our new partners at VS Engineering take their support further and participate in our hands-on learning, the possibilities for our students are endless.”

VS Engineering is a dedicated civil engineering firm that provides innovative solutions to improve infrastructure and enhance communities.

“We are thrilled to partner with the Culver Elementary PTO in supporting the 2025 STEAM Expo,” said Amber Phillips, Project Assistant at VS Engineering. “We’re also eager to actively participate with a booth at the event, encouraging engagement with students and engineers through a hands-on educational opportunity related to structural design.

The 2025 STEAM Expo is a community event open to the public and supported by sponsors, donations, and a generous grant from the Marshall County Community Foundation.
