On Sunday, Feb. 23 at 2:27 p.m. ET, the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was notified of a single-vehicle crash on U.S. 31 in the area of U.S. 30.
Upon arrival, officers located a crashed vehicle and a male driver, identified as Mac McQueary Jr., 61, of South Bend.
Police say additional investigation found that McQueary was operating the vehicle with a lifetime driver’s license suspension for being a Habitual Traffic Violator. McQueary was treated at the hospital for minor injuries and was then transported to the Marshall County Jail.
Suspects are considered innocent unless or until proven guilty.
