Violation of a Protection Order

On Jan. 7, at 10:15 p.m., Marshall County Central Dispatch received a call advising of a violation of a protection order at the Economy Inn.

Plymouth Police Department officers were dispatched to the area and learned that 29-year-old Michael L. Carver, of Plymouth, was in violation of a protection order and was taken into custody, according to the report.

Carver was transported to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department where he was booked and lodged on preliminary charges of invasion of privacy, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia. Due to the invasion of privacy charge, he was held on an automatic 24-hour hold before being eligible to bond.

Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
