Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest

On Jan. 4 at 2:59 p.m. ET, officers with the Plymouth Police Department were dispatched to the area of Michigan Street and LaPorte Street for a man who appeared to be highly intoxicated.

A 911 caller advised there was a man on an E-Bike who was going into traffic and about to be hit.
Officers located the man riding on Michigan St. coming up to Oakhill and causing traffic to go into oncoming traffic to avoid him. The man, later identified as Jeremy Foor 31, of Plymouth, turned into Oakhill Cemetery where the officer tried to conduct a traffic stop. Police say it was determined that Foor was highly intoxicated and a danger to himself and others.

Foor was placed under arrest for a preliminary charge of public intoxication. A portable breath test registered .303, according to the report. Foor was transported to Plymouth Hospital for medical clearance due to his intoxication level and once cleared he was transported to Marshall County Jail.

Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
