Traffic Stop Brings Firearms Arrest

On Jan. 11, Plymouth Police Department officers condcuted a traffic stop for speeding.

Police say the driver, Miguel Angel Hernandez, 32, of Plymouth was pulled over for speeding and arrested on a preliminary charge of driving while suspended with a prior arrest.

During the inventory of his vehicle, a loaded firearm was located, according to the report. He was given an additional preliminary charge of being a violent felon in possession of a firearm.

Hernandez was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail without incident.

Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
