On Tuesday, Jan. 7, at 8:46 p.m. ET, Marshall County Sheriff’s Department deputies initiated a traffic stop on a black 2013 Honda on U.S. 31 near State Road 10 in Argos.
During the investigation, police say a probable cause search of the vehicle was completed, and the officer located suspected marijuana and a loaded firearm. The driver, Camila A. Gonzales, 20, of Pendleton, was taken to the Marshall County Jail.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
