Plymouth Police Department officers recently conducted two warrant arrests.
On Jan. 7, at 5:15 p.m. ET, officers were notified that a man with active felony warrants was living at the Economy Inn.
Plymouth Police attempted to locate the man, Joseph Azzam, 34, of Plymouth. While in the area, the vehicle that was believed to be Azzam’s pulled away from the Economy Inn, according to the report.
A traffic stop was made on the vehicle and police say the driver was positively identified as Azzam. He was taken into custody for active arrest warrants for domestic battery, criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon, and battery by bodily waste to a public safety officer.
Azzam was transported to the Marshall County Jail, where he awaited pickup from Pulaski County.
On Jan. 8 at 1:30 a.m. ET, officers went to 729 N Seventh St. in an attempt to serve a warrant on Justin Nathan Langley, 46, of that address.
Police say Langley fled on foot from the residence and was tracked to a separate room inside a garage. He was taken into custody without incident with assistance from the Marshall County K9 Unit. Langley was then transported to the Marshall County Jail and lodged for multiple active Felony arrest warrants from Fulton County for dealing in methamphetamine.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
