Operating a Vehicle while Intoxicated

On Jan. 26 at 3:43 a.m. ET, Plymouth Police Department officers were dispatched to the area of Pioneer and Lincolnway for a report of a possible impaired driver.


Officers located the vehicle traveling east on Jefferson and initiated a traffic stop at Plum St. The driver, Jorge Luis Rivera Jr., 37, of Argos, was found to be operating the vehicle while intoxicated, according to the report.


He was transported to the hospital for a blood test, which police say confirmed a blood alcohol level above .15. Rivera Jr. was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was issued a bond and court date.

Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
