On Saturday, Dec. 28, at 9:51 p.m., a Marshall County Sheriff’s Department deputy initiated a traffic stop on a white 2006 Dodge van in the area of Michigan Road and 4th Road.
During the investigation, police say the driver, Kathleen L. Dean, 47, was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol. Field sobriety testing was completed, and a certified blood draw later showed her to be over two times the legal limit of alcohol, according to the report.
Dean was transported to the Marshall County Jail.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
