On Jan. 12 at 7:55 a.m. ET, Plymouth Police Department officers were dispatched to Blue Ridge Trail for a domestic disturbance.
The suspect, Hector Manuel Fortin Granados, 19, of Plymouth, was located walking away from the scene. A female at the scene had injuries sustained during an altercation instigated by Granados.
Granados was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail, where he was lodged on preliminary charges of strangulation and domestic battery.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
