On Jan. 15 at 11:11 p.m. ET, the Marshall County Coroner’s Office was contacted to investigate a traffic fatality on Queen Rd. south of 7th Rd in Plymouth.
The single-vehicle crash involved a four-door Mercury passenger car driven by 24-year-old Hunter Poor, of Plymouth. Poor was southbound on Queen Rd. and, for reasons unknown, left the roadway on the east shoulder, striking a tree. Poor was the lone occupant and was pronounced dead at the scene from injuries sustained in the crash by County Coroner Dean Byers.
At the time of the crash, the weather was clear, the roadways clear and dry.
The Plymouth Fire Department assisted at the scene.
