On Monday, Dec. 23, at 4:50 p.m., Marshall County Central Dispatch received a call regarding a two-vehicle collision on U. .30, east of State Road 331.
Officers arriving at the scene learned the collision occurred between a passenger car and a semi-tractor trailer. Officers found that a westbound 2003 Ford Escort driven by Anthony Clemons Jr, 41, of Fort Wayne, lost control of his vehicle and left the roadway. The car proceeded through the grass median where it was struck by an eastbound 2007 Kenworth driven by Victor Sotomayor, 45, of Chicago Heights, IL. The collision brought both vehicles into the center median.
The two occupants in Clemons’ car were transported to a regional hospital with numerous complaints of pain. The driver of the Kenworth was uninjured.
Agencies involved were the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, Bourbon Police Department, Bourbon Fire Department, Lutheran EMS, and Reichert-Knepp Towing.
