Traffic Stop Leads to Possession Arrest

On Saturday,​ Dec. 21 at 7:56 p.m. ET,​ Marshall County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of Kenilworth Road.

​Police say during the stop,​ a probable cause search of the vehicle was completed, and the officer located multiple THC vape cartridges,​ as well as THC edibles, and approximately 140 grams of suspected marijuana.

The driver,​ Starlyn M. Abel, 38, of Indianapolis,​ was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail on a preliminary charge of possession of marijuana.

Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
